ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy

ABA Tharapy (Applied Behaviour Analysis) is a science-based approach to understanding and improving behavior by looking at how learning happens in everyday environments. It is most commonly used to support autistic children and others with developmental differences. Instead of trying to teach complex skills all at once, ABA breaks them into small, teachable steps. Each step is practiced and reinforced so the child can build skills gradually and successfully. Over time, these small steps combine into larger abilities. ABA is often used to help with things like:

  • Communication skills (speaking, using gestures, or assistive devices)

  • Daily living skills (dressing, eating, hygiene routines)

  • Social skills (turn-taking, conversation, play)

  • Reducing behaviors that interfere with learning or safety

ABA Tutoring

  • Breaking skills into small, teachable steps

  • Teaching each step systematically and clearly

  • Reinforcing correct responses to encourage learning

  • Tracking progress using data to ensure continued growth

ABA Tutoring uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to support academic learning in a structured, engaging, and individualized way. Our tutors use evidence-based teaching strategies that focus on:

ABA Tutoring can support children with reading and literacy skills, writing and language development, mathematics and problem-solving, attention and study skills, following instructions and classroom routines and learning strategies tailored to individual needs.

Parent training is a vital component of our autism services, designed to empower families with the knowledge and skills needed to support their child’s development. Our clinicians work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to teach practical, evidence-based strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines and natural environments. Training sessions focus on enhancing communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills while addressing individual family goals and concerns. Parents receive ongoing guidance, coaching, and feedback to promote consistency across home, school, and community settings. By actively involving families in the therapeutic process, we help foster meaningful progress, skill generalization, and long-term success for each child.
